Pre-approved but not seeing offers

Occasionally, customers or merchants may contact support because a customer was marked as pre-approved but cannot see their desired offer during the application process.

When handling a call or ticket regarding missing pre-approved offers, follow these two primary investigative steps:

Step 1: Verify the Offer Code and Link

Often, missing offers are the result of a tracking or configuration error on the merchant's side.

  1. Check the Merchant's Rate Sheet: Verify the merchant's active rate sheet and ensure the offer codes they are expecting are currently live and valid.
  2. Confirm Offer Code Attachment: Ask the merchant if they explicitly attached the correct offer code to the application link sent to the customer.
  3. Run the MB Report: Use the Metabase Report to verify if an offer code was successfully captured by the system.

Step 2: Verify Customer Loan Product Qualification

If the offer code is correctly attached but still not visible, you must verify if the customer actually met the risk criteria for that specific loan product.

  1. Locate the Customer Data: Open the App Data All V3 Metabase Report.
  2. Check Offered Products: Scroll over to the Products_offered column to see which specific products the system automatically qualified the customer for.
  3. Cross-Reference Risk Grades: Locate the customer's Risk_Grade within the data and cross-reference it with the internal guidelines to see if it aligns with the requested offer.
    • Compare the customer's risk grade against the rules outlined in the Offer Priority & Rank Google Sheet.
